The boss knows I don’t work Sundays. Never have, never will. She’s nice enough to respect that and so the store was closed.
Sundays I run.
And I go to church.
And I do some combination of reading and TV watching.
What about Monday? Well, the boss refuses to be open on holidays. So we were closed for Memorial Day.
(Flag Day we’re open for. I always suspected that holiday of riding of Memorial Day’s coattails. Tagalong.)
So for sixty whole hours, nobody was around. Yet, life went on.
(I checked the messages yesterday. There was all of one message and it was a hang-up. But mostly, I just wanted an excuse to post my favorite phone joke of all time.)
