When it is my turn to lead worship at church, I do it a touch differently. If I think dialogue from a well-known movie will do the job, I lean into that. Personal anecdotes? Always fair game. Cat stories? I do not know that my dad would approve. I have serious doubts that my grandparents would appreciate it.
But for me and my house? We serve up cat stories. (If God does not love the little furballs, why did He make them so cute?)
